The hospital is under the administration of the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Lindi supported by the Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing, Germany. For smooth running of the hospital the Diocese is supported by the Priory of Ndanda, Hospital Board of Directors and the Diocesan Medical Board.
The Hospital has five major departments: Medical, Surgical, Obstetrical & Gynaecological, Paediatric and Tuberculosis. The first two are structurally divided into male and female wards. The total number of beds is 220.
The hospital also has a General Outpatient Department, Dental Unit, Psychiatric Clinic and Eye Clinic. Preventive and Promotive Health Care Department consisting of Mother and Child Health Care Unit and Infertility/Family planning Clinic.
Supporting Services are: Laboratory, Pharmacy and Central Sterilisation with Infusion Fluids Production Unit, X-Ray Unit, Physiotherapy Unit, PHC/CBHC Program, Clinical Pastoral Social Service Department, Domestic Department, Technical Unit.
